Milene van Arendonk
Documentary photographer

Milene (1985) is a documentary photographer from The Hague, the Netherlands. She registers what is likely to disappear from the streets. But also what strikes her and often escapes the eye of others.
Milene is attracted to the strange in the normal, by the perfect imperfections and the ordinary that is in danger of
disappearing.

In 2019 she published a book about a local cultural phenomenon: Bakkie Pleuâh.
