I love to photograph things that seem normal to some but strike me as very different. That also happened with the busstops I encountered on my trip through Finmark. I travelled from Tromsø to Kautokeino and crossed into Finland. The busstops in Finland are remarkable. They give shelter to the few people who make use of them. During the winter this is quite welcome I suppose. Some of the busstops have to care a lot of snow on their rooftops, quite the heavy lifting I suppose.
And then one enters into Norway again. The busstop undergoes an incredible change.
